One of Piedmont’s local treasures and historical sites is City Hall. In 1972, PBF installed flower beds out front. In the 1980’s, PBF also helped fund the benches and the fountain, and continues to provide reserves for maintenance of this area. In the years 2004-06, PBF provided funding for the replicated historic Piedmont Park faux bois bench in the City Hall Plaza, and replaced the original teak benches, which had deteriorated. In 2014 – 2016, PBF helped fund a major overhaul of the City Hall Entrance and Council Chambers.

PBF supports the Historical Society and provides information to the public about the beautification projects around town with a slide show on a monitor as you enter City Hall, as well as a collection of Piedmont historical photographs.
