Exedra

Blue Vase, Exedra Plaza, McGee Overlook

From 1972 to 2010, PBF has been working to beautify the Exedra, the symbol of Piedmont. PBF’s first renovation efforts began in 1972, with the Blue Vase triangle planting, major structural and decorative repair of the Exedra structure and the iron gates, as well as lighting and planting of the center piece. Again in 2000, PBF made major donations to the development of the Exedra plaza (the backside of the Blue Vase) by funding the design, repair and installation of the fountain, stairway lighting, tiles and landscaping of the area. The crowning phase added the McGee Overlook, complete with moonlighting of the Centennial Oak Grove and the Overlook.
