In 2012, PBF helped the City of Piedmont develop the land adjacent to Beach Elementary School and the tot lot as an edible garden with three orange and two apple trees, blueberry bushes, strawberries, and kiwi vines to celebrate Arbor Day with the students. PBF also installed the Mrs. Mark Noble Memorial liquidambar trees that ring the school in the early 1970’s.
